Fructose is found in fruits,fruit juices,syrups and honey however in some cases it can trigger side effects such as diarrhea,abdominal pain and gas.

Fructose malabsorption is a digestive disorder in which absorption of fructose is impaired by deficient fructose carriers,the result is increased fructose in the entire intestine causing vomiting, diarrhea ,abdominal pain and bloating.Checking food labels is essential before buying packaged food to avoid the presence of high fructose corn syrup,maple flavored syrup,molasses,palm or coconut sugar and sorghum which are different forms of fructose.

Nowadays fructose is misused as it is included in every food product as a sweetener therefore causing a lot of intolerances when eating sweets.
