Detox Water

Ingredients:

Sliced cucumbers

Sliced ginger

Sliced lemon

Mint Leaves

I would recommend having your detox water first thing in the morning and refill the bottle for the rest of the day.

Ginger  and mint stimulates and helps digestion,lemon helps your liver detox and cucumbers hydrate your body.

Summer is the perfect time for detox water!

organic coconut and dark chocolate bread

Ingredients:

2 cups organic  whole wheat flour

1 tsp organic baking powder

2 cups organic desiccated coconut

2/3 cup organic jaggery

2 organic eggs

180 g organic coconut butter

2/3 cup organic cocoa powder

3/4 cup organic hazelnut milk

 

Mix flour,cacao,baking soda,desiccated coconut and jaggery all together.

Melt butter and add eggs and milk.

Mix all ingredients and whisk for 2 minutes until a soft dough is obtained.

Place the dough in a container with some coconut oil at the bottom to prevent sticking.

Preheat the oven at 160 C and place the cake for 45 minutes.

Mediterranean wrap

Here is a wholesome recipe for a protein base wrap!

Ingredients:

• 3 organic eggs
• 2 tbsps organic corn flour
• 80 g halloumi cheese
• 1/2 onion
• 1 tomato
• Lebanese zaatar
• sumac
• 1/2 tsp organic butter

Mix eggs with corn flour (previously mixed with a little water) and whisk vigorously.

Add butter to the pan,allow to melt than place the eggs mixture.
When ready flip your wrap to cook on both sides.
Cut tomatoes,onions and Halloumi in cubes and place on top of your wrap.Allow to cook for 4 minutes.
Sprinkle the condiments and Enjoy!

Makhlouta Skinnykc style

Ingredients:

1 cup of bean mix:

Red kidney beans

White beans

Black eyed peas

1/2 cup chickpeas

1/2 cup lentils

salt

caraway seeds

1 onion

1/2 cup whole wheat rice

4 cups of water

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 lemon

This vegan dish is full of vitamins and minerals along with fibers.

Preparation:

1-Soak legumes overnight.

2-Boil legumes for 1 hour or 15 min in a pressure cooker.

3-boil rice

4-In another pan brown onions in coconut oil and place pulses and rice with water and salt.

5-Allow to simmer for 30 minutes until the soup has the consistency you like then add lemon juice.

Enjoy!
