Makhlouta Skinnykc style

Ingredients:

1 cup of bean mix:

Red kidney beans

White beans

Black eyed peas

1/2 cup chickpeas

1/2 cup lentils

salt

caraway seeds

1 onion

1/2 cup whole wheat rice

4 cups of water

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 lemon

This vegan dish is full of vitamins and minerals along with fibers.

Preparation:

1-Soak legumes overnight.

2-Boil legumes for 1 hour or 15 min in a pressure cooker.

3-boil rice

4-In another pan brown onions in coconut oil and place pulses and rice with water and salt.

5-Allow to simmer for 30 minutes until the soup has the consistency you like then add lemon juice.
