Paleo diet vs wholesome eating

Low carbohydrate diets are very popular as being a quick fix to rapid weight loss. There is a multitude of books such as The Paleo diet ,The Atkins diet with different titles giving the same diet tips and a lot of people swear by it. I personally do not recommend it for more than 2 weeks or in case of a weight loss plateau.

Whenever you take the decision to go on a low carbohydrate diet refrain from eating animal fat which are high in saturated fat and add some whole grains,veggies,fruits and nuts.Engaging in a low carbohydrate diet for too long may impair your kidney function and give you bad breath. Always think that a healthy lifestyle is a diet that you can do your whole life rather than for a short period of time.
