Hearti Grub homemade and hearti snacks

Hearti Grub homemade and hearti snacks

I met Arti Karnik at the Ripe market and went through her amazing heart healthy products ‘’HEARTI GRUB” and found them a very good alternative to industrial snacking.

What is so nice and unique about the products is their traditional aspect as they are handmade from wholesome ingredients with no preservatives. You can find a variety of snacks such as homemade Granola, spiced nuts, seed mix, nut butters and mango relishes.

I fell for the super seedy mix, which is a full load of vitamins and minerals such as omega 3, omega 6 and essential fatty acids. You can sprinkle them in your salads, rice, soups or even on Labneh (Lebanese cream cheese) as I usually do.

The seed mix is made of a mixture of flax seeds, sunflower seeds, white and black sesame, Nigella seeds, fennel seeds, raw jiggery, salt and pepper. For the first time I found one of the best seed combination. Jaggery is a natural sweetener used in India, fennel seeds act as a dietary fiber and nigella seeds or black cumin has anticancer properties. It is definitely a super food that you should add to your daily meal plan.

I use spiced nuts as a healthy snack for home gatherings. Nuts are lightly roasted at 46 degree Celsius, which means that they retained most of their nutrients. The spicy and sugary twist makes nibbling very fulfilling and guilt free.

I bet most people crave nut butters and refrain from having them because of the bad publicity they have. In my opinion pure nut butters are a very good source of proteins that will curb hunger. Hazelnut butter can be combined with banana or apple for a heart healthy breakfast and cashew butter to create creamy vegan salad dressings.

You can enjoy those products by ordering them online on www.heartigrub.com or email Arti Karnik at heartigrub@gmail.com to place an order.
